Visa is an official authorization to enter a country. You may not be able to travel to or enter the country if you do not obtain an appropriate visa.

Applicant contacts the South African consulate by email for the requirement and appointment.
Applicants must submit the application and required documents by themselves to the consulate in Jeddah.
Once the passport is ready to pick up, submit a request from KAUST portal Go to the GA eservices > Visa Services> Passport pick up
Once the GA representative collect the original passport the GA center will send it to your address by the UPS (mail carrier).

Copy of Exit re-entry visa
The applicant Identification certificate from KAUST with color Stating Salary, Iqama number, position and date of hiring/monthly stipend for students.
An Invitation letter (only for business & Study travel)
A bank statement for the last three months (stamped from the bank) for each one of the family traveling.
Two 3.5 x 4.5 size recent photos with white background (no glasses).
Trip details (ticket and hotel booking).
If the applicant is dependent, a copy of parents ID, a copy of birth certificate of minors in English, and no objection letter with the sponsor’s signature. For minors under 18 years old, it must be with both parents signature.

When contacting the consulate by email for the requirement and the appointment, you must mention the visa type and the applicant nationality.
The submission of the requirements to South African consulate should be maximum one month before traveling, and the period of stay depends of the flight reservation and hotel booking.
