Visa (South Korean)

Visa is an official authorization to enter a country. You may not be able to travel to or enter the country if you do not obtain an appropriate visa.

  1. Applicant must submit the application and required documents by themselves to the consulate of South Korea in Jeddah.

  2. The consulate writes the date of passport collection on the receipt. 3 days before the date, submit a request from KAUST portal go to GA eservices > Visa services > Passport pick up

  3. Send by UPS (mail carrier) the original receipt to the GA center.

  4. Once the GA representative collect the original passport the GA center will send it to your address by the UPS (mail carrier).

  • For Tourist and Visit visa

    • Original passport

    • Copy of the passport

    • Iqama copy

    • Copy of Exit re-entry visa in PDF format

    • The applicant Identification certificate from KAUST with color Stating Salary, Iqama number, position and date of hiring/monthly stipend for students.

    • Hotel booking and flight reservation.

    • Bank statement for the last three months with SR 30,000 balance (must be stamped from the bank).

    • Travel plan.

    • Two 3 x 4 size recent photos with white background (no glasses)

  • For Business Visa

    1. Original passport

    2. Copy of the passport

    3. Iqama copy

    4. Copy of Exit re-entry visa in PDF formatCopy of Exit re-entry visa in PDF format

    5. The applicant Identification certificate from KAUST with color Stating Salary, Iqama number, position and date of hiring/monthly stipend for students.

    6. Original Invitation letter from the host party in Korea addressed to Korean Consulate in Jeddah explaining purpose of visit, duration, accommodation and trip schedule and attested from the chamber of commerce in Korea or certified by a notarial office.

    7. Evidence of business transactions with the inviting company.

    8. Two 3 x 4 size recent photos with white background (no glasses)

    9. Hotel booking and flight reservation.

  • The requirements and fees are subject to change at any time depending on the updated regulations of the country.

  • The passport must be valid for at least six months and three blank pages

  • Iqama must be valid at least 90 days

  • For exit re-entry visa in PDF format, please contact GA by email. For dependent, Exit re-entry visa can be printed from the sponsor’s Absher.
