Visa is an official authorization to enter a country. You may not be able to travel to or enter the country if you do not obtain an appropriate visa.

Should Know

Submit a request from KAUST portal: go to GA eservices > Visa Services > Applying for Visa
Send by UPS (mail carrier) the below documents to GA center

Fill the below visa application form. Kazakhstan Visa Application Form

The applicant Identification certificate from KAUST Stating Salary, Iqama number, position and date of hiring/monthly stipend for students
Two 3.5×4.5 size recent photos with white background (no glasses)
Trip details (ticket and hotel booking)

For Business visa

Copy of invitation letter from a host company in Kazakhstan

For Tourist visa

A written statement with a request to issue a visa (please indicate trip purpose).
Copy of invitation letter from the hosting tourist company in Kazakhstan.
A cover letter from applicant’s company with the information about the company.

For Transit visa

A visa to the country of destination and copies of your ticket or itinerary
Transit visa is valid only for 5 days (included)

The requirements and fees below are subject to change at any time depending on the updated regulations of the country.
Payment has to be done through the bank account, cash is not accepted.

The invitation must clearly indicate the following: name of applicant; exact name of inviting company; exact dates of the visit to Kazakhstan; the itinerary.
Inviting company should provide the confirmation (visa support/telex) for your trip through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan

It is issued only for one month and cannot be extended.
