Visa (Canadian)

Visa is an official authorization to enter a country. You may not be able to travel to or enter the country if you do not obtain an appropriate visa.

  1. Applicant make an appointment for delivering the requirements, make fingerprint and verify the passport in the Visa Application Center in Jeddah.

  2. Once you receive an email about the approval from the government of Canada, applicant needs to submit passport and documents. Create a request from your KAUST portal if the applicant wish GA representative to do it on behalf. GA eservices > Visa Services > Applying for Foreign Visa

  3. Send by UPS (mail carrier) the requirements to GA center.

  4. After you received SMS from the visa center for passport collection, submit a request from KAUST portal Go to the GA eservices > Visa Services > Passport pickup and provide the original receipt and to hand-write an authorization letter on the national ID/ Iqama copy with KAUST representative information with the signature same as on  your passport in GA center. Applicant will be asked to add a signature on another authorization form too.

  5. Once the GA representative collect the original passport, the GA will send it to your address by the UPS (mail carrier).

  1. The applicant Identification certificate from KAUST must be with colors stating Salary, Iqama number, position and date of hiring/monthly stipend for students and No need to stamp from Chamber of Commerce

  2. Travel medical insurance is a copy of Bupa card and the certificate of membership from Bupa website.

  3. Bank statements must be up to date
