Student Visa Stamping

A Student Visa is an entry permit for residency in the Kingdom for educational purposes only.

Please note that the below requirements are subject to change at any time depending on the regulations of the Saudi Embassy or Consulate.

Visa Approval Letter is valid for 90 days to be submitted to the embassy.

The country/city where the visa will be issued must have a Saudi Embassy or Consulate.

This procedure applies to all new international students coming from outside of the kingdom.

There are three different methods to stamp the Visa (depending on the Saudi Embassy/ Consulate)

1-Applying directly to the Saudi Embassy/ Consulate (applicant sends the package of documents to the Embassy or submit it in person).

2-Using a recommended/ approved agency by the Saudi Embassy/ Consulate (list of the agencies can provided by Embassies Relations Team or Relocations Team).

3-Using VFS Tasheel (approved by the Saudi Government to process the visa applications in more than 33 countries)*

 

VFS Tasheel

The applicant needs to use the VFS Tasheel Visa Service Center and visit the center in person to submit his/her biometrics and process his/ her application.

The applicant can get an appointment by going to https://www.vfstasheel.com/landing.html#/index and filling in the online application. On the website the applicant can find more information and an exact list of required documents.

  1. Original Passport (Validity more than 6 months from application date, with at least 2 empty pages side by side)

  2. Visa approval letter obtained from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

  3. Medical Report (should be obtained as per the Saudi Embassy / applicant’s country).

  4. Criminal Record (should be obtained as per the Saudi Embassy / applicant’s country).

     

  5. Graduation Certificate endorsed by the country local entities legalized by The Saudi Cultural Mission and The Saudi Embassy.

  6. Recent Passport size photograph.

  7. Saudi visa application form (provided by the Embassy /agency)

  8. Permit of residency in case the applicant is not applying through their home country.

  1. POA should include family members.

  2. Original Passport (Validity more than 6 months from application date, with at least 2 empty pages side by side)

  3. Medical Report (should be obtained as per the Saudi Embassy / applicant’s country).

  4. Criminal Record (should be obtained as per the Saudi Embassy / applicant’s country).

  5. Recent Passport size photographs.

  6. Saudi visa application form (provided by the Embassy /agency)

  7. Permit of residency in case the applicant doesn’t apply from his/her mother country.

  8. Authenticated proof of relation (Marriage certificate and Birth certificate).

    No objection letter from the parent ( only for children of single parents or if the other parent is not joining the applicant in Saudi).
