Schengen Visa (German)
The Schengen visa is a short-stay authorization issued by one of the Member States of the Schengen Area. It allows you to stay in or transit through the territory of all the Schengen
Member States and to travel between them without any borders. Entry to and departure from the Schengen zone is possible through any Member State. If you are going to stay in more than one country, you must to apply from the country in which the duration of staying is the longest.

Visit the TLScontact website where you find all the requirements, visa fees, checklist and make an appointment for fingerprint.
Applicant make an appointment for delivering the requirements and submit biometric information in the Visa Application Center in Jeddah.
Once you received SMS from the visa center for passport collection, submit a request from KAUST portal: go to GA eservices > Visa Services> Passport pick up
Once the GA representative collect the original passport, GA center send it to your address by UPS (mail carrier)

For non-Saudi applicant, you need Resident information and copy of Exit re-entry visa in PDF format. Please contact GA by email. For dependent, Exit re-entry visa can be printed from the sponsor’s Absher.
The applicant Identification certificate from KAUST must be printed in color, stating Salary, Iqama number, position and date of hiring, or monthly stipend for students. It does not need attestation from Chamber of Commerce.
Travel medical insurance is a copy of Bupa card and the certificate of membership from Bupa website.
