Schengen Visa (Austrian)

The Schengen visa is a short-stay authorization issued by one of the Member States of the Schengen Area. It allows you to stay in or transit through the territory of all the Schengen
Member States and to travel between them without any borders. Entry to and departure from the Schengen zone is possible through any Member State. If you are going to stay in more than one country, you must to apply from the country in which the duration of staying is the longest.

Should Know

Visit the VFS website where you will find all the requirements and the checklist of the visa.
Applicant make an appointment for delivering the requirements and make fingerprint in the Visa Application Center in Jeddah, for the Location please click HERE
Once you received SMS from the visa center for passport collection, submit a request from KAUST portal: Go to the GA eservices > Visa Services> Passport pick up
Send by UPS (mail carrier) the original passport and the receipt to the GA center
Once the GA representative collect the original passport the GA center will send it to your address by the UPS (mail carrier).

The Working days of the Visa Application Center in Jeddah – Sunday to Thursday.
For non-Saudi applicant, you need Resident information and copy of Exit re-entry visa in PDF format. Please contact GA by email. For dependent, Exit re-entry visa can be printed from the sponsor’s Absher.
The applicant Identification certificate from KAUST must be with colors stating Salary, Iqama number, position and date of hiring/monthly stipend for students and No need to stamp from Chamber of Commerce.
Travel medical insurance is a copy of Bupa card and the certificate of membership from Bupa website please click here : https://onlineservices.bupa.com.sa/
