Re- Stamping of Lost Student Visa

A Student Visa is an entry permit for residency in the Kingdom for educational purposes only.

Please note that the below requirements are subject to change at any time depending on the updated regulations of the Saudi Embassy or Consulate.

The visa re-stamping can only be made through the Saudi Embassy or Consulate where the visa was stamped.

 

This procedure applies to all new students that need to re-stamp their student visa in case they lost their passport before entering the kingdom with it.

There are three different methods to stamp the Visa (depending on the Saudi Embassy/ Consulate)

*VFS Tasheel

The applicant needs to use the VFS Tasheel Visa Service Center and visit the center in person to submit his/her biometrics and process his/ her application.

The applicant can get an appointment by going to https://www.vfstasheel.com/landing.html#/index and filling in the online application. On the website the applicant can find more information and an exact list of required documents.

  1. Applying directly to the Saudi Embassy/ Consulate (applicant sends the package of documents to the Embassy or submit it in person).

     

  2. Using a recommended/ approved agency by the Saudi Embassy/ Consulate (list of the agencies can provided by Embassies Relations Team or Relocations Team).

     

  3. Using VFS Tasheel (approved by the Saudi Government to process the visa applications in more than 33 countries)*

  1. A new original Passport.

  2. Previous Visa approval letter.

  3. A copy of lost Passport, if possible.

  4. A copy of lost visa stamp, if possible.

  5. Support letter from KAUST
