Police Clearance Letter

A police clearance report is an official document given to the applicant upon request. Police clearance report has a validity of 30days from the issue date. Requester must request while staying inside the Kingdom through Absher (MoI portal) before the final exit.

Should Know

Complete the following steps through your Absher:

Go to electronic services > My services > General services > ABSHER reports > Request a report > Criminal Record Report > Choose the language > Click Next
Choose the country where you are going to use the report and the purpose, then confirm.
Check Absher, once the document is ready, you will see the electronic certificate on Absher: My services > General services > ABSHER reports
Once you receive another reference number with ‘Pay’ button, click and complete the payment.

For future purposes for outside the Kingdom (visa application, job application…etc.), some countries require the police clearance letter to be attested by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).

If MoFA attestation or Apostille is needed, the procedure must be done within the validity.
