Car Registration Renewal

Car registration (Istimarah) is a compulsory registration of a vehicle with the government. All vehicle must have valid registration.

Execution Duration: Immediate
Fees: 300 SAR

Steps
Should Know

Take Motor Vehicle Periodic Inspection with an appointment.
Ensure the car insurance is valid.
Pay the Government fees via Bank account (SADAD).
Complete the vehicle registration renewal online application on the MOI portal (Absher).
Login to your MOI portal > vehicle services > vehicle management > Renew vehicle registration

Fees

300 SAR

There is 100 SR fee for late registration renewal if it is delayed.

Current format of physical car registration card has no expiration date. There is no need to print a new one.
