Car Driving License Renewal

This procedure is to renew Saudi driving license. It is mandatory to obtain a valid driving license to drive in the Kingdom. This service is applicable for males and females.

Execution Duration: 5 business days
Fees: Depends on the duration of the driving license

Steps
Requirements
Should Know

Pay the fee through the online bank account (SADAD)
Take a driving license medical test.
Login to your MOI portal (Absher) > My services > Traffic > Renew driving license
Within 10 working days, your new driving license will be delivered to your National Address which you registered from SPL website.
In case you cannot receive the new driving license, submit a request from KAUST portal: go to the GA eservices > Motor vehicle services > Driving license (collect)
Send by UPS (mail carrier) the original driving driving license card to the Government Affairs center
Once the driving license is ready, GA will send you a notification.

For driving license medical test

Copy of Iqama/ Saudi National ID
200 SAR cash
Driving license

The applicant must have his/ her own Absher account.
Driving license medical test is a walk-in service, no appointment is required. Result will be uploaded in the government system.
Driving license medical test validity is 30 days.
