Visa is an official authorization to enter a country. You may not be able to travel to or enter the country if you do not obtain an appropriate visa.

Applicants must submit the requirements to the Egypt consulate in Jeddah by themselves
Once the visa is ready to collect, submit a request from KAUST portal: go to GA eservices > Visa Services > Passport pickup
Send by UPS (mail carrier) the original receipt to the Government Affairs center

Egyptian Consulate
Copy of Digital Iqama which shows at least 6month of validity from the day the applicant goes to the consulate from Absher or Tawakkalna Services App.
The applicant Identification certificate from KAUST in color Stating Salary, Iqama number, position and date of hiring/monthly, stipend for students.
Two 3.5 x 4.5 size recent photos with white background (no glasses)

For student occupation and some nationality they need an approval from the Ministry of Interior in Cairo (the approval will take three weeks)
The passport must be valid for at least six months and three blank pages
The Salary certificate needs MOFA attestation and Egyptian consulate attestation for Asian nationality applicants such as India, Pakistan, China, Syria, Indonesia and the Philippines.
