Car Registration lost or damaged replacement

Car registration (Istimarah) is a compulsory registration of a vehicle with the government. This is the procedure to replace in case it is lost or damaged.

Execution Duration: Approx. 5 business days
Fees: 100 SAR

Steps
Requirements

Pay the Government fees via bank account (SADAD).
Submit a request from Portal: go to GA eservices > Motor Vehicle services > Car registration card (collect)
Once GA receives the new registration card, it will be send to the requester by UPS.

Provide following documents to GA center

Copy of vehicle registration card or Electronic car registration card
Copy of valid vehicle insurance
Copy of iqama for non-Saudi / Saudi ID and KAUST ID copy for Saudi
Copy of Saudi driving license
Copy of valid motor vehicle periodic inspection if the car is older than 2 years.
Electronic Sector visit authorization to KAUST representative through the requester’s Absher. Please contact GA for the details.

Fees

100 SAR fine through SADAD payment
