Dependent Iqama Issuance
The sponsor must obtain his/her Iqama before requesting the dependent Iqama issuance. Validity of the dependent Iqama depends on the period requested by HR/Graduate Affairs for the sponsor

Open your KAUST portal > Go to GA eservices > Iqama services > Dependent Iqama Issuance, upload the following documents and submit your request.
Make a request to the government through the sponsor’s MoI portal ( Absher).
Contact GA once the dependent Iqama request is approved.

Copy of the sponsor Iqama
Copy of dependent passport
Copy of dependent Saudi visa with border entry number ( if he/ she was born outside the Kingdom)
Copy of the father Iqama
Copy of the mather Iqama
Copy of the dependent passport
Copy of birth certificate (front and back)
Marriage certificate of the parents attested by Saudi embassy or apostille (if the dependent is a newborn baby and parents are both independent in the government system)

There are two different procedure, depends on the dependent’s place of birth. Either way must be done through the MOI “Absher” of the sponsor.
The dependent information must be already added in the sponsor student/ employee profile to submit a request.
