Documents Attestation from Foreign Consulates

Consulate attestation is the process of verifying the authenticity of a legal document in one country to be accepted in another. The attestation requirements vary depends on each consulate.

Should Know

Submit a request from KAUST portal: go to GA eservices > Attestation services > Attestation from Foreign consulates
Send by UPS (mail carrier) the original document and the cash GA center
Once the GA representative collect the original document GA center will send it to your address by the UPS (mail carrier)

Copy of Iqama
Fee in cash: depends on the each consulate. Please check the amount and provide the exact amount.

For Chinese consulate attestation, please use the form below. If the document is issued in Saudi Arabia, you must go through Apostille by MoFA in Jeddah. Chinese consulate attestation form (standard attestation only, not Apostille)
